Affordable Furniture To Go started in 1994 as the largest ready-to-assemble furniture superstore in theNew England area. This was an idea created by Marvin and Larry, a father and son team with over 50 years of combined retail experience. After the store’s inception, Marvin and Larry welcomed additional family members into the business, including Marvin’s sons-in-law, Steven and Joel.
Our Vast Furniture Selection
Soon after the furniture store had its grand opening, it was quickly acknowledged by numerous trade publications for its unique and innovative concept. The store initially opened with 10,000 square feet, selling primarily entertainment centers, home office furniture, and bedroom furniture, but after two successful years of business they decided to increase their space and offerings. In 1996, the store grew to 15,000 square feet and included additional furniture categories such as kitchen and dining room furniture, living room furniture, and mattresses. Several years have passed and the business has continued to grow, now including fully assembled goods and outdoor furniture selections by Ashley Furniture.
